Waterfowl - Birding There are almost to many to mention - ospreys and eagles hunt for food on the flats - herons and egrets work along the mangroves in search of food - pelicans and terns dive into schools of bait fish - just to mention a few Photo Courtesy/Joanna Trescott
Mangrove Islands Mangrove islands are a haven for wildlife - fish hiding under the root systems that grow into the water - crabs and snails climbing on the branches - birds hunting food and nesting - maybe even a raccoon will come out to say hi
